Meet the RTM Directors
Peter Cartwright
I have been a leaseholder at City Walk Apartments since the development was completed in 2010 and have been actively involved with the Residents' Association throughout both periods of its operation. I am passionate about ensuring our building is managed transparently, fairly and in the best interests of all leaseholders.
Throughout my career, I have held a variety of roles involving leadership, project management and responsibility, including working as part of a project management team on large-scale engineering projects and being responsible for the day-to-day running of the Education Department at Wandsworth Prison. For more than 20 years, I have also run my own business as a counsellor, trainer and author. These roles have given me extensive experience in communication, organisation, collaboration and working effectively with diverse groups of people
I look forward to bringing this experience to the RTM Company to help promote effective decision-making, strong governance and open communication. I believe Right to Manage offers leaseholders the opportunity to play a more active role in shaping the future of City Walk and ensuring that service charge funds are managed responsibly, transparently and with a clear focus on delivering value for money.
Luke Proctor
I have spent more than 17 years working in the clinical research sector, primarily in project management roles. Throughout my career, I have developed extensive experience in planning, governance, financial oversight, stakeholder management and delivering complex projects. I am keen to bring these skills to the RTM Company to help ensure City Walk is managed efficiently, professionally and with a strong focus on transparency, accountability and value for money.
My partner, Gemma, and I have lived at City Walk since 2015, giving us a real appreciation for the community and a long-term interest in the future of the development. I am passionate about improving communication with residents, strengthening oversight of service charge expenditure and ensuring that the managing agent delivers a responsive, high-quality service that reflects the expectations of those who live here.
I believe Right to Manage presents an opportunity for residents to play a more active role in shaping the future of City Walk, ensuring that decisions are made openly, service charge funds are spent wisely and the development continues to be a great place to live.
Andrew Hinds
I have lived at City Walk Apartments for six years, first as a private tenant and now as a shared owner. During that time, I've seen how the management of residential developments has evolved, with residents increasingly seeking greater transparency and a stronger voice in how their buildings are managed.
Like many people at City Walk, I have become frustrated with the service provided by Rendall & Rittner. I believe Right to Manage offers residents and owners a genuine opportunity to take greater control over how our building is maintained, how decisions are made and how service charge funds are spent.
Professionally, I work as a brand and graphic designer, creating communication and design solutions for businesses. I hope to use those skills to help improve communication between residents, the RTM Company and the managing agent, making information clearer, more accessible and more transparent.
One of my priorities is to improve visibility over how our annual service charges are being used, particularly in relation to communal works, maintenance programmes and the management of the reserve (sinking) fund.
I would also like to strengthen communication between the managing agent, residents and owners so that everyone receives timely, consistent and meaningful updates, rather than having to rely on information passed from neighbour to neighbour.
Most importantly, I want to listen to the people who live at City Walk. I welcome ideas, feedback and suggestions from residents and owners alike, so that together we can help make City Walk an even better place to live.
